Clean energy consumption

The Symphony of Flowers prefers hydroelectricity to fossil fuel-powered generators, even though the latter are widely used in industry.

Clean technology

The Symphony of Flowers uses LED (light-emitting diode) technology for its installations, an extremely energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly technology.

Reuse of infrastructure

The logistical infrastructures used by the Symphony of Flowers, including floors and bleachers, are adapted and reused from former Cavalia production equipment to maximize the project’s eco-responsible impact.

Re-use of lighting structures

The re-use of Symphony of Flowers lighting structures is at the heart of its business model. They are reused from one market to the next, rather than being replaced or falling into disuse.

Promotion of public transport

The Symphony of Flowers encourages public transportation and invites all visitors to access its site directly via the public transit network.

Recycling

All along its route, the Symphony of Flowers installs and displays recycling containers for visitors.

Eco-responsible partnerships

The Symphony of Flowers promotes eco-responsible initiatives through partnerships with leading Quebec companies.

Water, sewage and sanitary facilities

The Symphony of Flowers invests in eco-responsible sanitary facilities, rather than limiting itself to the temporary chemical installations favored in industry.
